SET PASSWORD CODE IN TWRP RECOVERY

If you are using latest philz touch recovery then locking the recovery is quite easy process as philz recovery has an option to set a password using volume keys.

But what if you are using TWRP recovery and thriving to set a passcode to lock the recovery?For this problem we have come forward to provide you the method to lock your TWRP recovery and set a password code so that no can wipe your data except you!Yes,we can set a password code to TWRP recovery and protect our devices.This can be helpful for those who lost there mobiles with locked TWRP recovery it will be a big troll for the thief as he can’t reset the android mobile password because he can’t access the recovery and hence your mobile will be only a plastic toy for the thief.Wow yeah?

You don’t need flashing any new TWRP recovery for this process!Just follow the below steps and you will be good to go...

Steps:-

1. First you have to download a file that enables passcode lock in TWRP recovery from below link(at the end of post)

2. Then move that download ui.zip file to /sdcard/TWRP/theme folder.

3. Now just reboot to your TWRP recovery.

4. Go to “Settings” and there you can set a password to your liking.

To check whether the passcode is working or not just restart your phone into recovery and check it by entering your passcode.Hope this method helps you...
